Orlando locals Kash’d Out have been making a big impact on the reggae scene for the past 3-4 years and are only gaining momentum as we inch closer to summer tour season! The release of their 3rd single titled “Good At Getting By” leads us to believe that we will soon be blessed with a full Kash’d Out record sooner than later! Their first show of 2019 was at West End Trading Co. in Florida where they premiered this new song! It’s very upbeat and the lyrics make you wanna forget about any unnecessary worries in life. The song lyrics talks of making the best out of shitty situations especially when that situation is being broke. “Chex mix from Dollar Trees and used mattresses are the only way to get by on Rockstar salary”. If that’s how these guys are getting by then they are pretty damn good at it!
They worked production with Jungle Josh as well as Dirty Heads bassist and artist David Foral (also responsible for the fire single art).
Frontman, Greg Shields describes working with the two very talented producers-
“We love collaborating with other artists. Working with Josh and Dave brought a fresh outside perspective that we were excited about. They showed us some instrumental ideas they had been working on and we were really digging this one. Andy Cooper from the hip-hop group, Ugly Duckling laid down the DJ scratching which we felt really added to the overall sound. We’re stoked on this track and looking forward to releasing more music very soon!”
Kash’d Out has just begun their Winter Blackout tour opening for Ballyhoo! and The Expendables. The tour is hitting the west coast first then headed to the east side and finishing off in the midwest! Be sure to look out for this upcoming powerhouse band!!
One Mission. One Love.
