Edjacated Phools, the Maryland-based band, has joined the roster of Providence Music Group (PMG). The band’s longtime manager, Fernando J. Delgado, has also joined Providence Music Group as an agent.
At Providence Music Group, Delgado will oversee an array of up-and-coming and established artists, as well as Edjacated Phools. Delgado and Edjacated Phools co-founded the Hightopps Backstage Mash Music Festival in Maryland, which is heading into its 4th year this September. Delgado will also continue his work at Electric Eye Entertainment, his own management, and events agency, in addition to his responsibilities at PMG.
Providence Music Group was established in 2019 by Joel Hanks, the founding member and agent for Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime. The agency is a full-service artist booking and management company currently servicing the entire United States.
Edjacated Phools, who recently released their new single “Lost Hours,” has garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike. Edjacated Phools were also recently announced as support for a national act, Fortunate Youth, for the group’s East Coast dates in September. The Edjacated Phools are a 6-piece fusion band based in Baltimore, and combine an energetic blend of rock, reggae, hip-hop, ska and alternative influences into a unique sound.
