Maryland funk rockers Foggy May will be releasing their sophomore album Sal Paradise this Saturday, Aug 31st! When it comes to funky reggae rock, Foggy May, is grooving their way into the local jam scene all along the east coast. The trio from Westminster, MD consists of lead singer/bassist David Kilma, drummer/vocalist Reed Rhoads, and lead guitarist/vocalist Ben O’Brien (also the lead guitarist for Baltimore’s up-and-comers Joint Operation). The record was locally produced in Rhoads’ basement in Westminster and then mixed and mastered at Echoe’s Recording Studio in Sharpsburg, MD.
The album cover features the three-piece surrounded by dogs and sunflowers, a reflection of the happiness the guys felt after successfully laboring over the record for the past three years and finally releasing it to the world! If you’re in the area don’t miss out on these local shows in October listed below, Foggy May will surely groove their way into your hearts and ears if you have yet to catch them live!
